This day, 23 November, in 1963 was the day Doctor Who first aired. Forty-four years this programme has lasted. It's gone through ten actors as the lead character, and countless companions, it's been 'cancelled', turned into an Americanised TV movie, and recently returned to our screens with the New Series in 2005. It's led to three spin-offs, and hundreds of novels and audio plays. Thanks to this programme, no one who has seen it can look at a police box or multi-coloured scarf the same way again. Happy Birthday, Doctor Who. And may you have many, many more.

please please let me know if you can make this a screen saver, i would soo love one, my mom is a who fan and she got me addicted to it so now i am a who fan and i will get my kids to be who fans too.. and it will keep on going on like that forever!!!! YAY love it. great pic, p.s. i fav it!

That would be Nice, the New Doctors are not as Good as the old ones. . . . . . . . . . . . .but it's still worth watching, unless your Blake's 7 fan as well !!!
